Good morning, friend. If you woke up already tired today, I want you to know you're not alone — and you're not behind. Some mornings we open our eyes and the to-do list is already louder than the birds outside.
Here's what I keep coming back to: "He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength" (Isaiah 40:29). That's not a verse for people who have it all together. That's a verse for the running-on-empty kind of morning. God isn't waiting for you to fill your own tank before He'll meet you — He meets you at empty.
So today, instead of pushing through on willpower, what if we borrowed His strength instead? A one-line prayer before your feet hit the floor. A pause before you answer that text. A breath before the day asks anything else of you.
If you need a quiet place to land some of that overwhelm, my Still, Small Voice ebook was written for exactly this kind of morning — learning to recognize God's voice even when everything else is loud. And if you're craving a steady daily rhythm with Him, Grace Unfolding walks you through Scripture one gentle day at a time.
You don't have to have the strength today. You just have to show up empty-handed. He'll do the rest.
Come say hi on Instagram @mommajscozycottage — I'd love to hear how you're doing today.
With so much love,
